160X..1967 Corvette Convertible, two tops, 427-400 hp, factory air, 4 speed, numbers match, (appears to be the real deal) with the original factory body/trim tag. Triple Black: Tuxedo paint with Red stinger, Black interior, and Black soft top. Recent professional body-off restoration to factory specified build sheet except paint color was changed to Black as a "tribute" to how rare a real Black 400 hp air convertible truly is, as only 3 to 4 real ones exist and are trading north of $400,000.00. NCRS Top Flight certification achieved in June 2010 which attests to how nice and truly correct this car is. The original factory data (trim) and VIN plates are still in place and have not been swapped out with repro tags. Optioned with factory air, factory side exhaust, power steering, black vinyl auxiliary hardtop, M-21, 3.70 posi, SS brakes, AM/FM radio, tinted glass, rallys, and 7.75x15" red stripe tires. Most all factory correct type components. Documented with the factory tank sticker and owners manual packet. The tank sticker has been validated to be authentic per the GM records and the NCRS Historic Document Services on April 21st, 2011. I bought this car and paid dearly as a further tribute to the past owner and restorers that did not alter the DNA (body tags). A phenomenal car that looks, runs, and drives excellent.
