Hi Donnie
I saw my old Vette Lot #163 at RM CA. listings for auction the 19th. I worked for BARD CHEVROLET for 19 years,I built and drove car a drag strip for over two years. Had a baby and gave it up and Mr Donald Bard son Doug Bard took it over driving it.

He (Doug Bard) blew Three motors up in two years and his father put a stop to the money it was costing just for advertisement. Car sat for two years out in back yard with no motor, Mr. Bard came to me and asked if I knew anyone that would by it,I bought from him with the understanding he would give me parts to put it back together. It had 3000 mile on it in 1974 when I purchased it. I was the SERVICE MANAGER at that time so I had my own dealer plate to use on it so i never registered it in NY.

It was very hard to drive on street anyway,way too much power.Had take Tunnel Ram off and put stock Hollie back on for Hood scoop blocked vision for driving on street. The car looks now as nice as it did the they it got delivered to BARD CHEV. Will never forget big sticker hanging from rear view mirror NOT RECOMMENDED FOR STREET USE.
