1081J..1966 Corvette Convertible, 427-425 hp, 4 speed, numbers matching original motor, also has factory original body/trim tag, one owner car with 29,990 actual miles. Rally Red paint with Black interior and White soft top. Original unrestored paint, interior, soft top, chrome, and stainless in very nice condition. Purchased new from Jim White Chevrolet in Toledo, Ohio on March 24th, 1966 and in storage in Ft. Lauderdale since 1982. Also has an affirmation by CCAS/Grenning as to the legitimacy and originality of the engine block, stamp pad, and the engine stamp. These original unmolested cars are among the rarest of rare and are rising to the top of the Corvette food chain as unrestored cars are used as guideposts for restorers, shining a light on the way vehicles were originally built. The solid feel of an excellent unrestored car cannot be overstated! Optioned with power brakes, power windows, power antenna, leather, teakwood wheel, transistorized ignition, M-21, 4.11 posi, F-41 special heavy duty suspension, SS brakes, AM/FM radio, off road exhaust, tinted glass, Kelsey K.O. aluminum wheels, and 7.75x15" Goodyear Power Cushion tires. Most all factory correct type components including jack, jack tools, original keys, seat belts, washer system, shifter, shielding, braided wires, air cleaner, carburetor, spark plug shields, hoses, hose clamps, window glass, valve covers, gas door assembly, bowtie mirror, glove box door, warranty book, owners manual, and sales brochure. Documented with dealer invoice with VIN numbers, key numbers, and option list. Also has warranty book/P.O.P., dealer order form, CCAS/Grenning Engine Stamp Affirmation, maintenance receipts, color and fabric selector, and glove box contents. Production date of March 8th, 1966 and delivered new by Jim White Chevrolet in Toledo, OH (dealer code 528 in zone 44) per the official NCRS/GM shipping data records (SDR).
