1015M..1966 Corvette Coupe, 427-390 hp, 4 speed with numbers matching transmission and rear end. Also has factory original body/trim tag. Milano Maroon paint with Black interior. NO HIT body with nice cosmetics but paint shows shrinkage under fluorescent lights and looks like a trailer queen outside in the sun. Grill tab still in place. Nice frame. Former show car with numerous trophies. Optioned with factory side exhaust, power antenna, teakwood wheel, M-20, 3.36 posi, SS brakes, AM/FM radio, back-up lights, tinted glass, K.O. aluminum wheels, and blackwall radials. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, replacement jack, jack tools, seat belts, washer system, shifter, shielding, braided wires, air cleaner, alternator, spark plug shields, radiator, gas door assembly, bowtie mirror, glove box door, and owners manual. We sold this car in 2003 and recently repurchased it. Our client owned it for 17 years. In 2003, this car had its numbers matching motor but about 7 years ago it dropped a valve and detonated the block. Now running a new #9289 long block 390 hp motor that our client paid $12,000.00 with 7,000 miles since installation. Production date of April 15th, 1966 and delivered new by Hunter-Weidner Chevrolet in Anderson, IN (dealer code 267 in zone 25) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR).
