1039G..1962 Corvette Convertible, two tops, 327-250 hp, 4 speed, numbers match (the real deal), 70,431 actual miles. Tuxedo Black paint with Roman Red interior and Black soft top. NO HIT body with one repaint of original Tuxedo Black, original interior, and excellent frame with only surface rust. A very original unmolested car with its original engine, transmission, and rear end. Twice NCRS Top Flight with scores over 98%. Radio delete car optioned with auxiliary hardtop, aluminum T-10 transmission, posi, sunvisors, windshield washers, courtesy light, heater, hubcaps, and 6.70x15" white stripe tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, trunk mat, trunk liner, taillight cones, rebound straps seat belts, shifter, air cleaner, generator, distributor, hoses, hose clamps, window glass, starter, carb, heads, expansion tank, radiator, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with some owner history back to 1965 and the delivering dealer. Production date of July 19th, 1962 and delivered new by Newhouse Chevrolet of Indianapolis, IN (dealer code 374 in zone 25) per the official NCRS/GM shipping data records (SDR). Also has a complete part and cast numbers sheet, NCRS judging sheets and owners manual packet. From the Howard Hoover estate who was the past chairman of the Michigan Great Lakes NCRS chapter and a Senior Master NCRS judge. Howard also was a judge for the Bloomington Gold certification show and owned this Corvette for approximately 15-years. Howard was a true hardcore car guy and a friend of the Corvette community.
