BENCHMARK® Certified means that a team of independent Bloomington Gold inspectors determined that vehicle to be less than 50% restored and yet 95% of the finishes remain in nearly factory new unrestored condition in all four areas - exterior, interior, under hood, and chassis.

If any one of the four areas is more than 50% restored or more than 5% of the finishes have deteriorated past nearly new condition, the vehicle is ineligible to be BENCHMARK Certified.

Vehicles are often referred to as Bloomington Gold SURVIVOR quality; however, SURVIVOR standards require only 51% of the finishes to remain unrestored and in nearly new condition. Quite a difference from the 95% required for BENCHMARK Corvettes. In short, BENCHMARK Corvettes have not only received SURVIVOR Certification, but also met the additional standards to be Bloomington Gold Certified®.

Bloomington Gold has been known as the Premiere Corvette event for nearly 40 years and has certified nearly 6,000 Corvettes; but only about 250, or 4%, have been BENCHMARK® Certified. That's why they are truly America's Premier Original Corvettes.
