1043Q..1970 Corvette Convertible, 454-390 hp, 4 speed, numbers matching original motor, transmission, and rear end. Also has factory original body/trim tag, 81,613 actual miles. Marlboro Maroon paint with Black deluxe interior and Black soft top. Original unrestored UN-HIT survivor in good condition, including original paint, original interior and original drivetrain other than a few period chrome upgrades. These original unmolested cars are among the rarest of rare and are rising to the top of the Corvette food chain as unrestored cars are used as guideposts for restorers, shining a light on the way vehicles were originally built and represent the standards which historians, judges, and future restorers can use to determine factory authenticity. The solid feel of an excellent unrestored car cannot be overstated! Also has an affirmation by CCAS/Grenning as to the legitimacy and originality of the engine block, stamp pad, and the engine stamp. Optioned with power windows, leather, tilt-n-telescopic, M-21, 3.70 heavy duty posi, SS brakes, AM/FM radio, evaporative emission control, aluminized exhaust, tinted glass, chrome rallys wheels and raised white lettered radials. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, seat belts, washer system, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, distributor, window glass, expansion tank, radiator, gas door assembly, owners manual, and sales brochure. Documented with the tank sticker, July 3rd, 1973 Ohio title, and CCAS/Grenning Engine Stamp Affirmation. From past retired local GM employee/owner of 49 years who purchased in 1973. Production date of February 9th, 1970 and delivered new by Chevrolet Engineering Center in Warren, MI (dealer code 502 in zone 0) per the official NCRS/GM shipping data records (SDR).
