1023U..1967 Corvette Convertible with Two Tops, 427-435 hp, 4 speed, numbers matching motor, also has factory original body/trim tag, 62,943 miles. Marina Blue paint with Black stinger, Bright Blue interior and Black soft top. Body-off restoration over a six year period in show condition including rebuilt motor, transmission, rear end, suspension, brakes, John Pirkle restored starter, horn relay, voltage regulator, Corvette Specialties of Maryland restored wiper motor, headlight motors, gauge cluster (date stamp and LB label preserved), Van Steel restored steering box, T.I. Specialties of Indiana restored transistorized ignition, Don Pica restored alternator, new Quanta gas tank and various vendors for the new bumpers, taillights, parking lights, door panels, seat covers, carpet, soft top, hoses and hose clamps. A labor of love and a love to spend money! These type of restorations normally cost between $150,000.00 to $200,000.00. This recently restored Corvette has yet to be shown, creating an exciting opportunity for the next owner to exhibit the car and compete for trophies, awards, and recogntion!
