1040R..1963 Corvette Split Window Coupe, 327-300 hp, 4 speed, numbers matching original motor, transmission and rear end. Also has factory original body/trim tag,40,530 actual miles. Saddle Tan paint with matching Saddle Tan interior. Stunning nut and bolt concours quality body-off restoration of a NO HIT body and rust-free chassis by Ray Zisa Corvette Center in Newington, CT. Bloomington Gold certified in 2010. Also has an affirmation by CCAS/Grenning as to the legitimacy and originality of the engine block, stamp pad, and the engine stamp. These type restorations normally cost between $125,000.00 to $175,000.00 as this car is absolute jewelry. ProTeam purchased this car in 2008 from the 2nd owner as a barn find project with no prior body damage and a rust free frame and immediately sold it to a corporate employee of Discovery Channel who commissioned its restoration. This car eventually became part of the John Hendricks Collection at the Gateway Colorado Auto Museum (the Discovery Channel founder). Optioned with power steering, power windows, T-10 transmission, 3.36 posi, Wonderbar radio, aluminized exhaust, tinted glass, hubcaps, and white stripe tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, seat belts, washer system, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, distributor, spark plug shields, hoses, hose clamps, window glass, valve covers, exhaust heat shields, expansion tank, radiator, gas door assembly, long base bowtie mirror, glove box door, cookie tin hood, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with owner history, CCAS/Grenning Engine Stamp Affirmation, Bloomington Gold confirmation, Bloomington Gold judging sheets and a 3-ring binder. Very rare and correct color combination and one of the lowest production colors in 1963 and a color very fitting for a champagne connoisseur. Production date of December 31st, 1962 and delivered new by Nowata Motor Company in Nowata, OK (dealer code 652 in zone 41) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR). Looks, runs, and drives excellent and is absolutely stunning!! CC:+1SOLD
