1038P..1962 Corvette Convertible, RPO-687, 327-360 hp, fuelie, big brake/heavy duty suspension, 4 speed, numbers match. Tuxedo Black paint with Fawn Beige interior and White soft top. Body-off restoration in show condition. NCRS Top Flight in 2014. These type restorations normally cost between $80,000.00 to $125,000.00. Optioned with the very rare RPO-687 race package consisting of: Heavy Duty Brakes, suspension, shocks, air scoops/deflectors, metallic brakes, cooling fans, wide wheels, and fast steering adaptor [equivalent of the 1963 Z06], T-10 transmission, 3.70 posi, Wonderbar radio, fuel injection, aluminized off road exhaust, sunvisors, windshield washers, courtesy light, heater, big brake hubcaps, and blackwall tires. Most all factory correct type components including the spare, jack, jack tools, trunk mat, trunk liner, taillight cones, rebound straps, seat belts, washer system, shifter, shielding, air cleaner, generator, distributor, spark plug shields, hoses, hose clamps, valve covers, F.I unit, F.I. fuel filter, finned balancer, guide Y-50 mirror, owners manual, sales brochure, and T-3 headlights. Documented with the restoration photos, owner history back to 1991 and NCRS certificate and judging sheets. Super rare RPO-687 car and 1 of only 246 produced. Production date of February 26th, 1962 and delivered new by A.D. Anderson Chevrolet of Baltimore, MD (dealer code 16 in zone 14) per the official NCRS/GM Shipping Data Records (SDR).
